On June 14, 2018, the life of county musician, Troy Gentry, was honored at the Mary Hong Gallery. World renowned cartoonist, Guy Gilchrist presented Troy’s widow, Angie, with a one of a kind guitar featuring a hand-painted illustration of “Batman,” Troy’s favorite character.
Gilchrist was joined by Mercury recording artists, Halfway to Hazard who honored Troy through music. Gilchrist and friends also gave musical performances at the event.
